Renewal of chartil in Jankowice

Renewal of chartil located in front of Jankowice palace. The building is being transformed into a hotel, an extension of future conference center in the palace itself.
The concept is to fulfill empty courtyard with traditional Polish veranda providing lounge space and enclosed passage between the rooms. The shape is a result of squeezing function in between existing trees in the courtyard.
In order to respect chartil’s facades, projections of the entrances become the cut-outs in the new structure.
