What’s mode:lina?
mode:lina was founded by Paweł Garus (left) and Jerzy Woźniak (right) in 2009 in Poznań, both formerly members of Rotterdam based architectural practice 123DV (www.123dv.nl).
mode:lina is a group of designers specializing in creation of space and design, whose passion is creating beautiful things, while fully functional and environmentally friendly. When designing we strive to create a space that reflects the individual style of life and ensuring maximum impression.
mode:lina is the highest quality, out-of-the-box thinking, attention to detail, professional advice and close cooperation with both our clients and specialists.
mode:lina is projects carried out as tailor-made products for the specific requirements and space. The road to the most optimal solution is through experiment and testing of different options using the most modern communications technology. To create a fresh and vital work the atelier atmosphere is needed, therefore, our lab is open, based on the continuous exchange of experiences with people from outside (such as artists, various professionals, designers, etc.) and cooperation with universities and research centers. We are happy to engage in social projects that promote new trends.
mode:lina is a constant search for new technologies. Our ambition is to implement the idea of “open studio” as a unit to promote new technologies by providing them with professional advice. Faithful to the idea of ”design thinking” we believe that innovative solutions may be more widely applied in various fields of science and technology (prosthetics, proteomics, mechanical engineering, etc.)
