BRAC 2.0 ZGODA

BRAĆ 2.0 ZGODA

In the heart of Warsaw’s Śródmieście district, on Zgoda Street, hides a gem of the capital’s wine scene – the BRAĆ wine bar. This small place with an area of only 27 m² became a creative and functional challenge for the designers from the mode:lina™ studio, consisting of: Kinga Kin, Paweł Garus and Jerzy Wożniak – known for their numerous HoReCa projects.

BRAĆ was born out of the passion of its owners, who, combining their love of wine and regional traditions and culture, developed a professional collaboration with the best Polish creators. This is the story of (as they call themselves) 3 brothers who have given the people of Warsaw a place full of Polish wine, design and graphics.

In this space, every centimetre has been thought out with careful precision. The long bar, finished with monochrome contrasting tile and delicate wooden decorations, attracts the attention of guests from outside, while at the same time being the heart of the wine bar.

The BRAĆ winery is a microcosm where every detail matters and every corner hides a history of Polish taste and design. The harmony between elegance and functionality is found in this small space, creating the perfect environment for discovering wines and savouring them in a unique, sensual atmosphere.

A microcosm where every detail matters

Mirror mosaic

An important element in the interior was the historic arched ceiling. To ensure that it would not lose its charm after the introduction of a small bathroom, the designers used strategically placed large areas of mirrors that reflect part of the ceiling to re-create it, further optically enlarging the space of the entire establishment. They gave similar treatment to the tiny bathroom, where a mirror mosaic gives it an illusion of spaciousness, and to the bar space that is entirely reflected in the opposite wall.

For its design, mode:lina™ relied on Polish brands, such as Paged chairs or glass lamps from the Łużyce glassworks in Piensk, and the investors invited Tomasz Opaliński to work on the graphics, underlining their commitment to promoting domestic production and talent.
